Club Member Count Update

We currently have 26 active members!! We are hoping to send the paperwork off by the end of this coming week to apply for our club’s sanction, upon collecting the other 4 members we need! If you are interested in becoming a member please apply as soon as possible so we can start planning our club events upon sending our application off to the ADBA. To those of you who are currently a member, we appreciate your support in promoting a positive image for our breed. We are excited to be so close to our sanction, we look forward to meeting with all of you at our first event!

“Keeno Karting”

This is “Frost’s Keeno Goodheart”, he was adopted by Greg and Cyndi at 11 mos. old and is now 27 mos. old. He has completed Basic and Intermediate Obedience, AKC Good Citizenship and is involved in a local area carting group. “Keeno” participates in parades and “practices” karting by giving wagon rides to the neighborhood children. “Keeno” exhibits all the best qualities and positive attributes that a representative of the breed should show in public.

Newly Forming Club to Northern Ca.

We are a newly forming club to Northern Ca. We consist of members who have a mutual interest in promoting a positive image for our breed, the American Pit Bull Terriers. We are forming our club to be of conformation and weight pull events for all who have ADBA registered American Pit Bull Terriers (APBT).

We are currently in the process of continuing to collect our mandatory amount of members (30), in order to move forward in getting our club sanctioned by the ADBA. We had our first club bbq gathering on May 17, 2008 and had a great time. We were able to establish our board members and meet other club members who wanted to be part of this newly forming club.

We have currently set up our bank account in our club’s name (which will allow us to take payments using paypal) and we have already established our club’s name. If you are in the Northern Ca. area and are interested in becoming a member, our membership dues for the year are $25.00 for a single member and $35.00 for a family membership. We are looking forward to “getting this show on the road” and meeting with all of our members. We are hoping to start putting together a date and place to host a Fun Show (we must host 2 before having a sanctioned show).
